The Artist’s Journey: A Fusion of Three Worlds

From the high altitudes of the Andes to the historic marble quarries of Italy, and finally to the rugged shores of the Pacific Northwest, this artist’s work is a testament to a life lived across borders and cultures.

Foundations in Perú

Born in Perú, the artist was raised in an environment where fine art was a daily reality. The child of a painting professor, they were mentored early on by the rigors of the academy. This upbringing was deeply colored by the legacies of Mariano Fuentes Lira and the profound chiaroscuro of photographer Martín Chambi—influences that instilled a lifelong fascination with light, structure, and cultural identity.

Classical European Training

Relocating to Italy as a teenager, the artist traded the landscapes of South America for the weight of European history. Their formal education was shaped by two of Italy's most prestigious institutions:

* The Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara: Where they honed their technical foundations.

* The Accademia di Belle Arti di Genova: Where they completed their Master’s degree, merging traditional techniques with contemporary concepts.

This period marked the beginning of their professional ascent, leading to a 2013 debut in the Le Marais district of Paris and a continued presence in the Italian art scene, most recently showcased at Galleria Merighi in Genoa.

The Seattle Chapter

In 2018, the artist transitioned to the United States, establishing a permanent practice in Seattle. Today, their studio is located on the historic Ballard Avenue, where the area’s industrial grit and maritime heritage serve as the current backdrop for their evolving work.

The result is a portfolio that bridges the gap between the ancient and the modern—a sophisticated dialogue between a Peruvian soul, an Italian identity, and an American future.
